Work In Progress: Open Call!

In collaboration with Karama Arts Club, HIVE is excited to announce a new event series, designed to bring independent creatives together in meaningful, process-focused ways.

We’re starting with Work in Progress: an evening of shared process, fresh perspective, and creative connection.

At the centre: four artists, selected via an open call, sharing something still in motion. In small rotating groups, peers will sit down with each artist to listen, reflect, and respond.

No stage. No spotlight. Just real conversation, creative energy, and collective insight.

The format:

• 4 artists
• Tables of 8
• 15 minutes per round
• The event will total 90 minutes

We’re looking for 4 creatives to share an idea, artwork, or project they’re working on. No polish needed, just a willingness to open up your process.

Artists, designers, writers, filmmakers, musicians, illustrators, comedians, makers are all welcome.
